The suffocating silence of outer space pushes resolve beyond its limits. Dead by Daylight’s Alien Chapter brings two iconic characters into The Fog: new Killer the Xenomorph and new Survivor Ellen Ripley. A new Map, Nostromo Wreckage, is available for all players. This Chapter Pack unlocks the Motion Tracker Charm, as well as the Very Rare Back in Action Outfit for Ellen Ripley.
The Killer is the Xenomorph. A perfect organism, born of violence, designed to kill, the Xenomorph is a relentless and cunning specimen. It stalks prey through subterranean tunnels, emerging without hesitation, striking with its razor-sharp tail, and eliminating prey one by one.
The Xenomorph’s Power: Hidden Pursuit
The Xenomorph can navigate a subterranean network of tunnels, allowing for rapid traversal across the Map and detecting nearby Survivor movement. Once inside, the Xenomorph can emerge at one of several Control Stations, covering great distances in a matter of seconds. If a Survivor is near a Control Station when the Xenomorph exits, their presence will be revealed through Killer Instinct.
Special Ability: Crawler Mode
The Xenomorph can move on all fours, significantly reducing its Terror Radius and allowing for stealthier mobility. While in this state, the Xenomorph can strike Survivors with a Tail Attack that can hit through Windows, over dropped Pallets, and more.
Special Item: Remote Flame Turret
When playing as the Xenomorph, Survivors will gain the ability to interact with Turrets. Turrets can be found at Control Stations and picked up and moved by Survivors. They can use Turrets to warn when you are nearby and place them at locations of their choosing. If you approach one, it will fire at you and temporarily disable your Power. Attack a Turret to destroy it.
The Xenomorph comes with 3 new perks.
When you search a Locker, all Survivors entering your vicinity will scream, reveal their Aura, and gain Blindness for a brief duration.
You can no longer gain Bloodlust. Instead, gain a temporary boost of speed every time you hit a Survivor with a Basic Attack.
When you Hook a Survivor, the Aura of the furthest Survivor will be revealed to you for a brief duration. While their Aura is revealed, that Survivor receives the Oblivious Status Effect.
Capable, pragmatic, and adept with advanced tech, Ellen Ripley’s experience on the Nostromo has proven uniquely effective in The Fog. No matter the odds, her survival instincts remain unparalleled, the result of a fateful encounter she won’t soon forget…
Ellen Ripley comes with 3 new perks.
After hiding in a Locker, you leave no pools of blood or make no sounds for a brief duration. Upon exiting the locker, you’ll briefly see the Aura of all teammates and the closest Generator.
After Repairing a Generator for a duration, gain the ability to install a temporary Trap on a dropped Pallet. If the Killer breaks the trapped Pallet, the Trap explodes and momentarily slows them down.
When you’re healthy, your running footsteps are silent. The Perk enters a brief cooldown period after a Rushed Action. This Perk cannot be used while Exhausted.
A brutal, industrial interstellar cargo ship, where human life takes a back seat to cruel efficiency. From the well of Ripley’s memories a grim and hopeless realm manifests into a terrifying nightmare.
*This map is free for all players.
Always be aware of your surroundings. The Alien Chapter Pack includes an exclusive item, the Motion Tracker Charm, only available as part of the DLC. Please note that this item cannot be purchased separately.
